Piermonter Brigitte MacMillan landscapes featured in October and November 2025.
Piermonter Brigitte MacMillan is this month’s featured artist at the Piermont NH Public Library. Landscape painting and photography have been a way for Brigitte’s to express her feelings when she is in nature, embracing all the seasons. She and her husband purchased property here in 2004, and they are now full-time residents. Piermont has been Brigitte’s inspiration for many years.
Brigitte is a native of New Hampshire. She taught Art, B&W Photography, Interior Design, Foods & Nutrition and Yearbook at Hollis Brookline High School for 19 years.
Brigitte has been teaching Art at Newbury Elementary since 2021. The
K-6 school has a focus on nature. Brigitte is enjoying incorporating the school’s motto of “Harmony with self, others and nature” into the students’ art experiences.
Over the years Brigitte has taken many classes and workshops and continues to be a life- long learner. She is working toward an Art Therapy certificate and Reiki Il Masters course.
