About the Artist, in her words . . .

As a New Englander I am fond of natural landscapes and gravitate to nature for enjoyment and reflection at all times of year.  I watch its changing patterns with fascination and observe or imagine life’s moments playing out in the shifting light.

When I shoot my images, I look for unplanned moments outdoors where natural light and circumstance present unusual beauty.  At sunrise, late in the day and in turbulent changing weather, I pursue natural light’s transitory impression to capture the instant of perfect beauty before it turns back into the ordinary.

I live in Concord, MA with life-long family ties to Piermont and Haverhill, NH and participate in arts events in Greater Boston, New Hampshire and Vermont.  I hold an M.S. in Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and B.A. from Connecticut College.
